We rescued Juno in west Oakland. He must be around 4 weeks old, but has moved in well to his new home already. I am just glad I was able to take him in-I know we saved his little life! If you see a homeless cat or dog help it out! Check out this site: www.saveacat.org/

Juno the grey kitten!
Saturday, June 27th, 2009A few headshots from some recent shoots!
Thursday, June 18th, 2009I did three shoots for my thesis project in May, but at the end of each shoot I decided to take my subjects outside or away from the set and just get some useable headshots that they could use to promote their acting careers. While I am in school, I have doing a lot of trades with people and it has been great for my project. Thanks Kimberly, Misty and Mero!

Still Life shots of Fabric
Sunday, June 7th, 2009Hi!
I took these shots for a designer at work so she could pitch a new line of books we hope to be doing at C & T Publishing in the future. The books will be more photo-based with simple text and illustrations to convey how to make wonderful fabric based projects. Yeah-it was fun! I love it when creativity and work get mixed together, so you forget your working! The concepts are just based around color, texture and sewing-pretty simple!
How Weird Festival Favorites
Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009Hey Everyone!
For anyone that does not know about the How Weird festival on Howard St. in San Francisco -well these pictures should sum it up-plus of course the several stages of various styles of dance music. These shots came about due to a being at the right place at the right time, a kind stranger and his son-thanks Kevin and Justin, and pure determination! I had been shooting another model all day and was about to leave the city-back home to Concord-no how weird fest there! But I turned around when I saw the festival and hoped that I would be able to get all my gear to a good spot and attendees would be interested in getting a photo taken by a stranger! My plan worked-ha ha ha. It was so much fun getting these shots and everyone was so open and fun in front of the camera! I am definitely going back next year-at least to dance! To all my subjects-you really were stars on the red carpet-so hot! The festival was on May 10, 2009.
Check out more pics from the shoot on my Flickr page.
Thanks! Christina
